Extreme Makeover: Home Edition

We are proud to share with you some of the photos taken during the "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" at the Burns Family home in Garden Grove, CA.  The photos show some "behind the scenes" of what it takes to deliver a custom ISS Closet and Shelving system.  As many designers and residential customers know, the ISS Designs components make it easy to design a solution and install within minutes.  All five closets in the Burns home were custom designed on location.  Once the designs were approved, the stock ISS Designs components were configured to fit each unique space.

Although we don't recommend working on your neighbor's lawn at nine o-clock at night to meet your deadline, it is good to know that you may customize your ISS System for virtually any space.  According to Maggie, design producer of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, "your company exceeded our expectations" and "we look forward to working with your company again".  Enjoy the photos and call or e-mail us at info@issdesigns.com when you are ready for your makeover.  We look forward to hearing from you.

Ben’s closet was the first closet made in honor of the Anaheim Angels including fire engine red poles, shelves and cubbies.

The guitar shelving was installed in the final hour before the family returned.

John demonstrates the strength of the ISS hang bar to an audience of fans watching through the window.

Preston confirmed the design details for the pole mounted guitar shelving. The final touches are made on the guitar shelves just prior to installation. Paul DiMeo of the design team poses with one of his fans.
The curved front of the guitar shelf was sanded down and notched to hold the guitar. Preston used ISS compression poles and 6" shelves  to design a perfect display for guitars. The guitar room also needed a special closet with double hang bars and shoe shelves.
Paul checks to make sure the baby and her mom are huggable. Benjamin and his family return to their home for the reveal. The crowd cheers as Ty walks the Burns back into their home.
ISS had the first pregnant volunteer ever to participate in a home makeover.  Manya had her baby two weeks later. The top shelf is added to complete the closet installation in Ty’s Fashion Room. Design producer Maggie congratulates ISS on a job well done and on schedule.
